Standards review
Delivered by GTEC Training
MCS maintains a comprehensive range of standards relating to the microgeneration sector. A periodic review of all standards documentation was commissioned, with the remit of ensuring that all scheme policies and processes relating to standards management were revised and updated. In particular, consistent formats were to be adopted for current standards and associated documents, ensuring clarity of requirements, guidance, tools and terms of reference.
This initial review is now complete and will facilitate further work which is being undertaken by the MCS Service Company, all of which will make the standards documentation easier for installers to navigate, for the benefit of consumer protection.
