Laura joined The MCS Foundation in April 2025 to manage the grants programme.

Laura’s previous grants management experience includes working within the VCSE Energy Efficiency Fund with Groundwork UK to support the large-scale retrofit of community buildings, and Help for Heroes, where she became the Grants Manager on a programme supporting capital and revenue grants to a range of military organisations.

Prior to this, Laura developed project management skills on a national management graduate scheme, holds a degree in English Literature and has undertaken a number of Grant Management post-graduate professional development qualifications.
