Eric joined the MCS Foundation in August 2024 to work on government relations and lobbying strategy.

Eric’s previous public affairs experience includes working for the pensioner poverty charity Independent Age where he led their lobbying work on older people in the private rented sector, and the British Heart Foundation, where he focused on prevention policy.

Prior to this, Eric worked for various different MPs, both in their constituency and in Parliament, and holds a Politics degree from the University of Leeds.
