Catherine joined The MCS Foundation’s Public Affairs team in May 2025, to manage the organisation’s relationships with political and governmental stakeholders in Scotland, focusing on influencing policy and decision-making.

She previously worked in public affairs consultancy with experience across policy areas including renewables, planning and environmental policy.

Catherine holds a first-class MA in politics from the University of Dundee and a MLitt in International Political Theory from the University of St Andrews.
